“Worship" is the new Ep by Andrea Agosta, emerging Sicilian producer and composer, released for the independent label Isulafactory.
The texture of the songs is entirely made up of electronic material, whose deepest pulsations have their roots in House and UK Garage (Nirvana and Their Blood), with rapid incursions into Deep House (Hymn), where biting and angular rhythms underpin bass distorted. Ambient impulses are found instead in Pyramids and Dust, whose melodic contours evaporate towards more ethereal and rarefied architectures. Andrea Agosta develops a carefully studied sound journey to disorient the listener, alternating a dynamic of accumulation and release of tension. The horizon of meaning, the narrative context that links the pieces with the non-arbitrary choice of titles, as if to indicate a precise and clear path to take, is the search for an inner adventure, for unprecedented forms of spirituality, a living, revolutionary "religiosity", which accompanies the individual to deepen his conscience, to realize his own personality in an alternative way, as a being-in-the-world, in contrast with a vision of our time increasingly oriented towards cynicism and materialism.
